Associate — Strategic Advisory

About the role

As an Associate in our Strategic Advisory practice, you will work on live cross-border transaction-readiness, capital strategy, and advisory mandates spanning India, SEA, the Middle East, and global markets. You will partner with senior partners and managing partners across origination, execution support, and closing — building deep sector expertise across technology, financial services, healthcare, and industrials. Note: Nirji Ventures is not licensed by the MAS and does not perform regulated activities; regulated execution is referred to appropriately licensed counterparties.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain integrated financial models, valuation outputs, and merger consequence analyses
• Author confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and investor pitch decks
• Lead industry, target, and buyer/investor research; build and maintain longlists
• Coordinate due diligence workstreams across legal, tax, and commercial advisors
• Support live execution on sell-side, buy-side, and capital strategy mandates end-to-end

What we're looking for

• 3-6 years in transaction advisory, corporate finance, strategy consulting, or comparable advisory roles at a reputable firm
• Advanced financial modeling, DCF, LBO, and comparable company valuation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication; pitch deck and CIM authorship experience
• Strong work ethic, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple live processes
• CFA, ACA, or MBA from a top-tier program preferred

Nice to have

• Prior cross-border transaction exposure across India, SEA, or the Middle East
• Sector depth in technology, financial services, healthcare, or industrials
• Existing relationships with PE/VC funds, family offices, or strategic acquirers
